Bakhyt A.,  Kurmanayeva D.K.,  Tazhitova G.Z. GAME-BASED LEARNING IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE CLASSROOMS

Annotation. This paper demonstares the outcomes of the research related to use of language games in learning English. Learning languages through games has been one of the means of increasing motivation to learning a foreign language. The purpose of this study was to investigate the motivational effects of game-based learning on Kazakhstani EFL students. The authors believe that this approach is very germane to students and their interests, as well as conducive to learning. According to the finding the authors conclude that curriculum authors, course designers, and syllabus developers should pay more attention to the functions of game-based tasks and activities in teaching languages and improve the corresponding curriculums and materials.

Desyaev S.N., Desyaeva N.D. PEDAGOGICAL POTENTIAL OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH MEDIA COMMUNICATIONS

Annotation. The authors of the article reveal the pedagogical potential of children’s and youth media communication, which is understood as the process of exchange in the public sphere through technical tools of information that has social and personal significance. Particular attention is paid to the specifics of media communication, which includes schoolchildren. In particular, it is indicated that its audience is relatively homogeneous in age and interests, and also has incomplete anonymity — the nicknames of the participants reflect their image characteristics, a significant part of the posts contains information about the personality of the author and the events happening to him. The authors of the publication dwell in detail on the functions of children’s and youth media communication and its basic features. The focus of their analysis is juvenile journalism as the most socially controlled component of this type of media communication.

Kovaleva Y.V. FINAL INTERVIEW: METHODS OF PREPARING

Annotation: Final interview is a new type of test in Russian, which includes such activities as reading, speaking and listening. Also it is necessary to make up a monologue, to have a talk with the examiner according to the topic. Time limit is 15 minutes that is why it is important to make up an algorithm that can help to complete the task. When discussing the final interview, students claim that they can easily cope with the tasks. However, the classes show that many of them face difficulties. This circumstance proves the relevance of the problem we are studying.

Kurlygina O. E., Loguzova M. A. FORMATION OF SKILLS TO WORK WITH INFORMATION IN THE PROCESS OF USING THE YANDEX TEXTBOOK

Annotation. The article considers one of the aspects of the formation of the ability of younger schoolchildren to work with information. As a means, the authors propose to use a popular electronic educational resource – the Yandex Textbook application – and analyze its capabilities for organizing this process. Examples of various tasks are presented that reflect the work with information presented in different ways, and questions and tasks that ensure this work are offered to help the teacher. The study showed that the application contains certain types of tasks that involve working with information. However, not all actions included in the ability to work with information are presented in the Yandex textbook, so their arsenal should be replenished. The educational resource contains tasks where information is presented in different forms, such as a dial, map, diagram, drawing, table. Accordingly, the teacher can use the educational resource “Yandex Textbook” additionally.

Klyuchko O.I., Tsaplina O.V., Zakharova S.A. APPLYING GAME TECHNOLOGY IN THE PROCESS OF INTERIM ASSESSMENT OF TEACHER TRAINING STUDENTS

Annotation: The article presents a project to test the game form of intermediate certification using the example of a modular exam at a pedagogical university. The effectiveness of widely used forms of intermediate certification in a higher educational institution is problematized, criteria for assessing the effectiveness of these forms are systematized, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of traditional forms of certification – ticket response, case, project. The game format for conducting intermediate certification is proposed as a possible way to eliminate the shortcomings of traditional forms, primarily plagiarism and cheating, low levels of involvement, and high levels of student anxiety. The possibilities of gamification in education are revealed, the logic of developing gaming technology as a form of conducting a modular exam in the master’s program “Intellectual Games” of the Moscow City Pedagogical University is described. Examples of tasks for each round are given – questions, cases, group assignments. The results of an expert assessment of the game form of conducting a modular exam by members of the examination committee, as well as an assessment of the exam form by students who took part in the project, are presented through the use of a unified system of criteria – level of psychological comfort, level of involvement in the exam, compliance with time regulations. The results of the project indicate that the game form meets the requirements for intermediate certification.

Lobanova A.A. FORMATION OF THE SKILL OF INDEPENDENT WORK BY MEANS OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES AT THE LESSONS OF FINE ARTS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL

Annotation: Independent work implies the organization of such activities, where a schoolchild is able to independently master knowledge and skills in different subject areas. It is possible to effectively organize independent work of junior schoolchildren using techniques and methods of working with information resources. In order for the application of information and communication technologies in primary school to yield positive results, it is necessary to rationally organize the learning process. The article presents the ways of selection and use of various information and communication technologies for the formation of the skill of independent work at the end of the IV quarter of the second grade, with the help of links to examples of author’s interactive exercises aimed at independent mastering of new knowledge and skills. The presented results of diagnostics of the level of formation of learning independence of second-graders confirm the significance of the conducted work.

Piche-ool T. S. ON THE QUESTION OF THE SCIENCE OF READER FORMATION

Annotation. The presented article contains facts and reflections about the creator of the science of reader formation – Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Natalia Nikolaevna Svetlovskaya. At its core, this is a methodological science; it represents the basis of the process of education, upbringing and development of a child by means of teaching him to read, namely: reading-communication, reading-creativity, reading-thinking about the world and about oneself. The author believes that it is important to teach and encourage every child to read fiction thoughtfully and by their own choice, because it is all dedicated to man. The focus of the publication is on the laws of reader formation discovered and formulated by N. N. Svetlovskaya, the process of primary schoolchildren mastering reading-communication, reading-creativity.

Savenkov A. I. MODERN TASKS IN THE PRODUCTION OF EDUCATIONAL EQUIPMENT AND DEVELOPMENTAL GAME TRAINING AIDS

Annotation. The article is devoted to a discussion of the development and production of modern educational equipment, educational toys and gaming teaching aids. The first National Congress of Training Equipment Manufacturers, held in Moscow in August 2023, was aimed at discussing these important issues. The production of educational equipment in our country has a long history, rich traditions and its outstanding achievements. The development of educational equipment for educational organizations at various levels traditionally develops in conditions of close contacts between teacher-scientists and child psychologists and manufacturers. The main centers for planning and conducting scientific research in the field of education have always been and remain leading domestic universities and the Russian Academy of Education and leading pedagogical universities.

Silchenkova L.S. ON THE SPECIFICS OF READING SKILL FORMATION PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

Annotation. The article made an attempt to comprehend the modern problems of the formation of reading competencies in primary school children. Interest in this topic is somewhat due to the fact that our country is participating in a comparative international study of the quality of reading of various age categories of students: PIRLS (International Study of the Quality of Reading and Understanding of Text by Primary School Students), an international study on the reading literacy of 15-year-old students PISA (Program for International Student Assessment). Participation in international studies required a rethinking of theoretical and practical issues of teaching reading to different categories of students, the adoption of program documents in this educational field. For a little over 10 years, our elementary school began to work according to the documents of the Federal State Educational Standards for Primary Education (FGES NGO). Recently, a new version of the FGPA NGO (2021) was proposed. It clarified the subject educational results of training in the discipline «Literary reading,» in the lessons of which the process of forming reading competencies is mainly carried out. However, the search for theoretical foundations and solutions to practical issues in educational practice continues. There is great public interest in the problems of teaching reading to elementary school students. Already at this educational stage, reading becomes a meta-subject competence, which is in demand in elementary school in classes in other disciplines. New educational areas are constantly emerging, where certain reading competencies are in demand, for example, in connection with inclusion, highly specialized educational areas arise: teaching to read children with disabilities, teaching to read children who have peculiarities in mastering written speech skills, and others. At the same time, there is a rethinking of traditional concepts in this educational area. The purpose of the article is to clarify the specifics of teaching reading to elementary school students in the modern educational paradigm.

Shchankina Yu. I. SPECIFICS OF PREPARATION OF STUDENTS FOR TASKS 16–21  OF THE UNIFIED STATE EXAM IN RUSSIAN

Annotation. The purpose of this article is to summarize the practical experience of preparing students for tasks 16–21 of the Unified State Exam in the Russian language, based primarily on knowledge in the field of punctuation. At the present stage, punctuation is a very complex, complex system, the undoubted advantages of which include its organization. At the same time, the potential of punctuation is great, which lies in the fact that with its help in written speech you can convey not only facts, thoughts, but also emotions. This possibility is due to the systemic interaction in punctuation of a number of the most important principles: intonation, semantic and structural.
