Agapov I. G. PEDAGOGY IN IMAGES, OR UNDERSTANDABLE PEDAGOGY (USING THE EXAMPLE OF A COMPETENCE-BASED APPROACH IN EDUCATION)

Annotation. The article presents the author’s approach to the concept of «competence» that has migrated from economics to pedagogical science and practice. For many reasons, pedagogy is incomprehensible to all participants in the education system, many educational actions are done automatically by teachers during the educational process, because it is necessary. Professing the principle of «pedagogy for the sake of life», and not for the sake of pedagogy itself, the author, using the example of the competence approach in education, tries to figuratively present the components of the competence paradigm, «live and feel» them in the vastness of the article, as he does at his pedagogical trainings with teachers, students and parents. The author pays special attention to educational procedures, the essence and content of which depend on the head of the training session (teacher, mentor, professor), facilitating the difficult path of understanding pedagogical truths. The author hopes that after reading the article, the interested reader will be able to understand why the competence approach, declared in all official documents, unfortunately remained on paper and gave way to the system-activity approach, not to mention the digital one.

Keywords: competence, readiness and ability to work, knowledge, experience, cognitive independence, integration of an individual into society, quality education.

Ershova L. V. TRANSFORMATION OF VALUES: THE SEARCH FOR A VALUE BASIS AS THE DIRECTION OF EDUCATION OF MODERN YOUNG PEOPLE

Annotation. The article raises the problem of determining the value basis of educational work with boys and girls in modern Russia. The value guidelines of education set by state policy are highlighted: volunteerism, pride in the country and people, respect and gratitude to veterans, memory of the heroic deeds of the people, cultural identity and ethnocultural diversity, respect and honor for teachers and mentors. The social situation of youth development determines the effectiveness of using active education methods and interactive technologies. The volunteer movement is considered as a possible and necessary condition for the formation of the values of unity, citizenship and patriotism. The successful experience of including students in volunteer activities on the basis of the Moscow regional branch of RANEPA made it possible to determine the ideal value profile of a volunteer, including such key values as: organization, responsibility, responsiveness. The greatest changes in the structure of a volunteer’s values are observed in 2022; compared to 2021, the structure of a volunteer’s ideal values has changed by 75%. An analysis of the dynamics of volunteers’ ideas about volunteer values (2019-2023) allows us to identify a number of trends: the priority of following social norms; increased orientation towards others. The indicated trends in changes in the value profile of a volunteer suggest that the development of the social role of “volunteer” is at the initial, adaptation stage. The study of the value portrait of a volunteer, broadcast at the state level, revealed a discrepancy with the obtained empirical portrait in terms of the “responsiveness” value. This value, according to volunteers, is key for a volunteer, since a sensitive, benevolent attitude towards others, a willingness to help in a difficult situation is the basis of volunteer activity. Volunteering is considered as a promising direction for the formation of professionally important qualities and values of a future state and municipal employee, who should be value-oriented towards service and the use of power to achieve the public good. Service learning is beginning to be actively introduced into educational practice with the goal of developing the required values by solving socially significant problems.

Kheifets E. E. APPLICATION OF THE «QUESTION» TECHNIQUE IN TEACHING ESSAY WRITING-REASONING BASED ON THE TOPOS «DEFINITION»

Annotation. The methodology of posing questions when writing an essay-reasoning based on the topos «definition» is used at the initial stages of work on the composition of the Exam 9 format.3. We propose to leave the classical scheme of the essay on the topos «definition»: thesis (one sentence) – why? – definition (one sentence) – what is the causal relationship? – comment (one sentence). The peculiarity is that we replace the first sentence with an auxiliary question to make it easier to make a definition and avoid the fear of a «blank page». Similar work is being done on the entire proposed composition. It is better to keep the first definition in the introduction brief, since it will be much easier to prove it, because every word in the thesis should find its confirmation in the essay. Three tasks of the OGE (numbers 6, 7, 8) introduce students to the proposed work, but this is not always enough.

Keywords: the main state exam, essay-reasoning, rhetoric, creative written works, lessons of speech development.
