Bakyt A., Zhandildinova A. M., Iliyassova A. K.  ANALYSIS OF CURRENT ROLES OF VOCABULARY AND GRAMMAR  IN TEACHING ENGLISH

Annotation. The 21st century is the time of advancement in science, technology, and education. The importance of the English language has increased with the emergence of our nation on the world arena and the development of international relations. Our goal is to develop a specialist who is proficient in English, competitive, and capable of using his knowledge in a variety of communication contexts. Since English is a global language with a solid reputation all over the world, there are several details that must be considered when learning the language. Learning a language entails overcoming many obstacles. Some of the challenging circumstances require a critical component of grammar and vocabulary instruction. The communicative approach of teaching is prioritized in current foreign language teaching techniques. Therefore, grammar and vocabulary remain limited inside confined frameworks for the last decades, however we should not forget how competitive and professional role vocabulary and grammar play in mastering a foreign language. Obviously, teaching vocabulary and grammar are interconnected in the educational process. We attempted to explore the importance of grammar and vocabulary in English classes in this study. The importance of vocabulary and grammar in the modern communicative technique of teaching the language, as well as the types of vocabulary and ways of teaching English, are all examined. The article addresses the survey results, including students’ attitudes toward a foreign language in general, to teaching vocabulary and grammar, techniques, and activities preferable by students in teaching vocabulary and grammar. English instructors were interviewed as well, and they revealed interactive tools and platforms to assist students improve their vocabulary and grammar.

Eshtayeva E. G., Musina S. K., Nurgalieva U. S. EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES FOR INCREASING THE ENGLISH LISTENING SKILLS OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Annotation. This paper presents the findings of a study on the listening skills of university students. Because listening is still a neglected ability, the authors propose that it should be taught at the university level in order to promote communicative competence and, in particular, proficiency in English. The article begins with a theoretical review of teaching listening. Then it introduces realistic and effective assignments and materials that are relevant for the Kazakhstan university context and will help students increase their listening skills. The authors offer the effective activities to improve students’ listening skills. Since mastering oral speaking in a foreign language requires understanding the interlocutor’s speech during face-to-face communication as well as on radio, television, and other mass media material, listening is a crucial and sophisticated type of speech activity. The paper demonstrates that effective exercises are the key to better understanding of the listening material and its benefit for other skills.

Kozyreva N. A. TOY TUMBLER: EXPANDING THE MEANINGS

Annotation. The article presents based on the traditional Russian toy (Bob of toy), new meanings in the game for children and adults. The historical, psychological, literary, didactic, research, methodological, inventive, conceptual, spiritual, cultural meanings of the Bob of toy and the gamification of learning that the authors introduced into theToy in the XX–XXI centuries are described.

Krupnova N. А., Vlasova K. А. LEXEMES HAUPT / HEAD AND THEIR DERIVATIVES IN THE GERMAN AND ENGLISH LANGUAGES

Annotation. The status of haupt / head lexemes is revealed, in relation to which the authors adhere to the traditional point of view regarding the use of the terms «semi-affix», «relatively related morpheme», «relative affix». Derivatives with the first component haupt / head with a different number of lexico-semantic variants are defined, and an epidigmatic and semantic study of their internal structure is carried out. The lexico-semantic variants of the haupt / head components were analyzed, which made it possible to trace their semantic possibilities when projecting semes onto the internal structure and onto the structure of derivatives of these components.

Murtazina N. A. FUNCTIONAL  LITERACY OF YOUNGER SCHOOLCHILDREN AS THE MOST IMPORTANT RESULT OF TEACHING MATHEMATICS

Annotation. The article considers the concept of functional literacy, the role and place of functional literacy in the chain of educational achievements. The relevance of the problem of formation of functional literacy among students is substantiated. Theoretical provisions for the search for methodological possibilities for the formation and development of functional literacy among younger students are highlighted, as well as appropriate approaches to solving the problem based on the material of the mathematics course are proposed.

Savenkov A. I. COMMITTEE ON ETHICS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL RESEARCH AS A TOOL TO COMBAT «ACADEMIC FRAUD» OF STUDENTS

Annotation. Within the framework of this article, the activities of the committee on the ethics of psychological and pedagogical research are analyzed as a means of overcoming the «academic fraud» of students studying in the enlarged group of specialties «Education and Pedagogical Sciences». In modern scientific literature, the term «academic fraud» denotes a wide range of violations of the rules of education that take place in educational organizations of different levels. The most common of them: cheating, incorrect borrowing when writing papers, unauthorized collaboration with other students when performing individual assignments. The widespread prevalence of dishonest behavior in education, called «academic fraud», threatens the quality of academic work, reduces the efficiency and competitiveness of education, negatively affects the quality of training of students of pedagogical specialties. The purpose of the article is to characterize the possibilities of a special structure – the Committee on Research Ethics, which evaluates and reveals manifestations of dishonest behavior of students. Experience has shown that the activity of the committee on the ethics of psychological and pedagogical research is one of the effective means of combating academic fraud. Currently, on the basis of many universities and research organizations, structures are being created that perform similar functions, focused on monitoring compliance with ethical standards and norms.

Abstract. The article touches upon the issue of the significance of methodological work in the light of the Federal State Educational Standard for Preschool Education, its ability to increase the level of motivation and interest of all parties in the educational process in achieving results, substantiates the role of the methodological service in creating conditions for the professional growth of teachers of an educational organization, highlights the goal, objectives and principles of its activity. The main thing in methodical work is the provision of concrete practical assistance to educators in improving the forms and methods of working with preschoolers.

Abstract. The correct choice of professional future, successful entry into the profession in the process of studying at the university are necessary prerequisites for effectiveness and success in further professional activities. An important component of the professionalization of future psychologists is the psychological support of the individual in the educational process of the university, which is one of the essential conditions that ensure the readiness for professional activity of a university graduate. The result of psychological support is the formed internal readiness of the student to build his professional path consciously and independently, awareness of himself as a representative of the profession, satisfaction with the chosen profession, acceptance of the norms and values of the professional community.

Yanbukhtina M. A. PROJECT ACTIVITIES AS A MEANS OF RALLYING A CHILDREN’S TEAM

Annotation. The article reveals the problem of studying project activity as a means of uniting a children’s collective; the concepts of «project activity», «children’s collective» are considered from different points of view; the features of the formation of group cohesion by means of project activity in younger schoolchildren, implemented in the process of joint solution of creative and educational tasks of the project are considered.
