Bednova E.V. AXIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE ARTISTIC WORKS OF YU.N. VOZNESENSKAYA

Annotation. The article attempts an axiological analysis of the texts of the modern writer Yu.N. Voznesenskaya. The main attention is paid to the system of values in the works under consideration. The heroes of Voznesenskaya are characters developing in time and space. Overcoming life’s difficulties, they learn the simplest things: to respect and love loved ones, to be honest, to believe in God, to help people who need help. Yu.N. Voznesenskaya inherits the experience of the writers- predecessors: D. Alighieri, J.R.R. Tolkien, K.S. Lewis, in whose texts the Christian predominates tradition. Speaking in ordinary words, the authors of such works draw readers’ attention to the fact that all actions performed by a person have their own value and quality.

Belozerova N.V., Shcherbakova I.O. DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ACADEMIC RESEARCH SKILLS AT THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE DEPARTMENT

Annotation. The article covers the issues of academic culture development at technical university. The authors review different approaches to the definition of academic culture. They find out different semantic elements of the concept «academic culture» and analyze them with the view to establish the fundamental features of the research culture in the modern world. The article is also focused on the description of the basic research skills which can be improved through the language practice in English.  The authors try to show how students’ research work in English can form the competences which are necessary to be integrated into academic community. The identification of the major conceptual elements of the academic culture along with the analysis of the existing university models has resulted in the detailed description of the research skills which can be improved through language practice.  The authors have also worked out a number of research activities which consolidate academic exploration and communication. The article describes the experimental part of the research conducted by the authors. It consists in the performance of a research project in English and their subsequent analysis and assessment. This empirical work has permitted to identify students’ competences which can be successfully formed and the ones which can be more problematic. The article highlights the elements of the students’ academic culture which require professional guidance for successful integration in the academic community. The overall results of the research show that developing academic skills in reading, writing, listening for doing the research projects in English can help students to improve their academic competence.

Kozina E.F. TECHNOLOGY OF DEVELOPMENT OF CRITICAL THINKING IN THE NATURAL-METHODICAL TRAINING OF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Annotation. The article notes the ambiguity of understanding the technology of development of critical thinking, determines the specifics of its application in the process of teaching disciplines of the subject area «Social Science and Natural Science (The Surrounding World)» and the corresponding training of primary school teachers.

Malikova M.G. AXIOLOGICAL APPROACH IN PEDAGOGY:  MODERNITY AND PROSPECTS

Annotation. The interest of an increasing number of authors in the axiological approach, its potential and prospects in pedagogy has recently been closely linked with the experience of crisis states in modern world and Russian society, frequent and radical transformations of the socio-cultural space. The behavior of an individual in society is largely determined by its value orientations. Overcoming the value vacuum, leveling and alienation of values from the individual today becomes, perhaps, the key task of education.

RESEARCH OF THE PERFORMANCE OF THE CONCEPT AND METHODOLOGY OF ORGANIZING THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS IN HIGHER SCHOOL WITH ACCOUNT OF THE ACADEMIC MOBILITY OF STUDENTS LEARNING IN THE DIRECTIONS OF THE ENHANCED GROUP OF SPECIALTIES «EDUCATION AND PEDAGOGICAL SCIENCES» (2+2+2)

Annotation. The article analyzes the results of a study of a new form of organization of the educational process in the pedagogical bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, which provides each student with academic mobility and the opportunity to choose their path to the profession of a teacher. The form of organization of the educational process according to the model «2+2+2 » the analysis of the obtained results was implemented and presented in this article. The authors note that the theoretical framework of the educational process organization model «2+2+2 » described, however, the form and technology of the implementation of this model require development and further research.

Savenkov A.I. DOLLS AND DOLL BUILDING IN THE ERA OF GENERAL GAMIFICATION AND EDUTATION

Annotation. The article presents an overview of the current state of the development of doll concepts, doll building and the practice of their use in the games of modern children. It is noted that the doll is an important tool for developing a child’s social intelligence and improving his cognitive abilities. Other spheres of application of dolls in the modern world are characterized: a doll as an object of artistic creativity and a collectible, a doll in the sphere of politics and social relations. The main prospects of doll building related to the development of new, high technologies are outlined. Very soon, robot dolls capable of being full-fledged play partners will appear in the playrooms of modern children.

Annotation. The article presents various approaches to the interpretation of the concept of «functional literacy»; the features of its formation in children of primary school age are listed, taking into account the mandatory complexity, practice-orientation and continuity, including on the subject material of the educational field «Social Science and Natural Science (The Surrounding World)».

Shukshina S.E. FORMATION OF MATHEMATICAL LITERACY IN CHILDREN 5–11 YEARS OLD IN THE PROCESS OF SOLVING CASES

Annotation. The article deals with the problem of the formation of functional mathematical literacy in children aged 5–11 years, as a complex learning outcome, where soft-skills are of primary importance. A meaningful analysis of international and national standards of education quality has been carried out. The key goals and educational results of initial mathematical training are highlighted. Particular emphasis is placed on work with meanings, which should take priority, because the lack of understanding of what is being studied will not allow to form a scientific picture of the world and will not contribute to the full mathematical development of students, the formation of their literacy. The developing potential of case technology and the ability to work with several types of meanings simultaneously (personal, subject, scientific, philosophical) within the framework of a designed and adapted problem situation are shown. Examples of cases with mathematical content based on children’s fiction are given.
